Somerville, and the livin' is easy.

Got in two nights ago, and I think my brain is too full to post anything of insight. But I will say that I'm immoderately pleased with everything. Also that Davis Square seems like Boston divided by Harvard Square, and that that is a good thing. Also that subways? Rock.

Have you discovered the flag walk from the Davis Square T stop to--well, somewhere else? It took me a couple of months to discover that when it was the most direct way to my apartment. "Flag walk" may not be the best description, though, and this was 12 years ago so it may be in a different form if it still exists at all.

I think most people call it the bike path, and it pretty much goes from my front door t the T stop. Of course, it breaks for the street itself, so it's funny to see all these people sort of ambling towards you, as you turn onto the path and start ambling forward; we remind me of the night of the living dead.

That was a very nice way of saying "It took me one day to discover it, moron."

Also, I might like some pictures, since it might play a role in a novel that it's probably not true that I might write.
